Workshop

On May 11, 2022 from 09:00 - 12:30 CET the Young Researchers Workshop 'Between Borders and Territories: Situations of Vulnerability and Vulnerable Groups' takes place at the University of Louvain.

On May 11th, 2022 the EDEM research team organize a young researchers workshop entitled “Between Borders and Territories: Situations of Vulnerability and Vulnerable Groups”. This workshop follows and closes the international conference The Time of Territories hosted by the EDEM research centre in the framework of its tenth anniversary.

This event will feature various presentations by young researchers related to the issue of vulnerability in migration, in three different panels: Crossing Borders: The (Vulnerable) Migrants; Vulnerable Groups and Factors of Vulnerabilities; Crimmigration and Situation of Vulnerabilities. These presentations will be turned into contributions to a forthcoming special issue of the EDEM Case Law Commentaries.

Dr. Luc Leboeuf (VULNER’s scientific coordinator, MPI for social anthropology), Dr. Sylvie Sarolea (WP leader of the Belgian VULNER team, UCLouvain), Dr. Delphine Nakache (WP leader of the Canadian VULNER team, University of Ottawa) and Zoé Crine (member of the Belgian VULNER team, UCLouvain) will attend this event as part of VULNER project.
