On December 1, 2022, Sylvie Saroléa, Christine Flamand, Francesca Raimondo and Zoé Crine, members of the VULNER Belgian team organise a workshop entitled ‘Through the Eyes of the “Vulnerable”: Dialogues on Temporalities and Space’, which will take place in Brussels.
Workshop Programme

The workshop will present and discuss the second report of the VULNER project: "Through the eyes of the 'vulnerable': exploring vulnerabilities in the Belgian asylum system", co-authored by Prof. Sylvie Saroléa, Francesca Raimondo and Zoé Crine.

This presentation will be followed by an exchange of views on temporalities and space with experts in the field of the asylum procedure and reception in Belgium. Two separate panels will discuss each of these thematics. After that, the floor will be given to the participants. In a context of extreme crisis in the reception of asylum seekers, the workshop will try to come up with suggestions for the future.

The event will be held in French and English.
